Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing & Sales Assistant to join our onsite team. In this role, you will support marketing initiatives by planning, executing, and tracking marketing activities while developing new strategies. This role is critical for driving the promotion and communication of our products and services within the industrial manufacturing and railcar sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Sales Quotation Process:
- Prepare cost estimates for customer quotation requests.
- Review customer quote specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Market Research & Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the railcar industry.
- Provide insights to the marketing team on market trends, competitive intelligence, and freight cost advantages.
Marketing Support:
- Monitor marketing requests for updates within the estimating system.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and manage team calendars.
- Oversee the creation and timely delivery of marketing materials in collaboration with external vendors.
Administrative & Customer Engagement:
- Manage and update customer databases.
- Respond to customer inquiries and gather feedback.
- Handle additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of marketing experience, ideally within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
- Familiarity with marketing tools, such as CRM systems, email platforms, and social media management tools.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
