BWS Manufacturing Ltd., a trailer manufacturer in Centreville NB, is looking for an Industrial Painter to meet the demands of our customers. Our work orders allow for diversity within this job and each day can be a new project. The work is very demanding but also very rewarding. You will be responsible for the surface preparation, paint mixing, and painting of various fabricated trailers and trailer components. Using a pressure pot system and a Gracco airless spray gun you will paint every unit to the required specification participating in a quality control program that ensures specifications meet the required standards.
To do this job successfully you should have the ability to operate a forklift, follow workplace safety policies, and complete work within established budgets. Being able to bend, stoop or stand and concentrate on detailed work for long periods of time is required. Experience with masking and paint preparation as well as properly maintaining equipment is essential. You are reliable, energetic, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

Duties, Equipment, machinery Using a pressure pot system and a Gracco airless spray gun to paint every unit to the required specification, surface preparation such as grinding, buffing, washing with a high presure washer, application of undercoating, taping/covering areas or components that should not be painted. Mixes required portions of pigment, oil, and thinning and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors and quality standards. - Weight handling : Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
Personal Suitability Team player, autonomous.
Education Secondary school education preferable. Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
Language English
Experience at least 5 years in the painting department of the trailer or heavy machinery industry(preferred)
Work Site Environment Noisy, Hazardous material, Physically demanding.
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Public transportation is not available.
