Reporting to the Vice President, Exploration, the Manager, Exploration Services oversees and coordinates multidisciplinary support for field exploration activities across Canada. The role focuses on maximizing the effective deployment of team capabilities and resources while driving safe, respectful, and efficient delivery of exploration programs
Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team across key functions including logistics, health and safety, environment, permitting, database management, geographic information systems (GIS), and land management across multiple jurisdictions (Quebec, Ontario, Nunavut).
Plan, coordinate, and allocate resources across jurisdictions, effectively distributing workload among skilled personnel to optimize overall capacity, capability, and operational efficiency across Canada.
Contribute to corporate exploration management, including participation in planning sessions, budget development, and identifying critical gaps in skills or capacity to support business continuity and long-term sustainability.
Oversee exploration risk management, including the implementation and continuous improvement of the Risk Management and Mitigation System (RMMS) to proactively identify, assess, and manage risks.
Support and lead special projects as required, including initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and project evaluations.
15+ years of progressive experience in mineral exploration.
Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, Mining Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
Proven leadership and team management experience
Strong operational planning and resource management skills
Experience contributing to strategic exploration initiatives
Knowledge of exploration risk management practices and systems
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience supporting special projects
Fluent in written and spoken French and English
Occasional travel to remote exploration sites
Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from one of our Exploration offices in Canada (Val-d’Or, Malartic, Kirkland Lake). Occasional visits to site may also be required.
No pay range is disclosed, as compensation is expected to exceed $200,000.
