We specialize in structural steel erection, welding, fabrication, and installation for commercial, residential and renovation projects. We are looking for an experienced Ironworker/Welder/Fitter/Field/Shop Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, experienced in structural steel installation and welding, and capable of leading crews on-site while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Structural steel erection and installation
- Reading and interpreting shop and structural drawings
- MIG, FCAW, and stick welding
- Fitting and fabrication of structural components
- Operating lifts, telehandlers, and rigging equipment
- Supervising field crews and coordinating site work
- Ensuring safety compliance and quality control
- Communicating with project managers, contractors, and clients
- Occasional shop fabrication work as required
Experience
- Years experience in structural steel/ironworking
- Welding experience required
- Supervisory or crew lead experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Valid driver’s license
- Fall protection and aerial platform tickets considered an asset
- CWB certification considered an asset
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
- Willingness to work both in shop and field environments
Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
