Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair styling preferences and recommend suitable treatments or styles
- Perform haircuts, coloring, styling, and chemical treatments with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
- Upsell additional salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
- Provide excellent customer service by creating a friendly, professional atmosphere and addressing client needs effectively
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, check-in/check-out processes, and maintaining client records
- Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training
Experience
- Prior experience as a Hairdresser or in a similar role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
- Knowledge of hair styling techniques, sanitation procedures, and retail sales strategies
- Ability to upsell salon services and products in a professional manner
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of client desires and salon policies
- Experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus
