We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Acrylic Fabricator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with acrylic materials, with a strong focus on precision fabrication, finishing quality, and efficiency in a workshop environment.
This role is suited for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in clean workmanship, accuracy, and consistent high-quality output.
Position Overview
The Acrylic Fabricator will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing acrylic components according to technical drawings and production specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, route, bend, and assemble acrylic sheets and components
- Fabricate custom acrylic products based on drawings and specifications
- Polish, flame-finish, and edge-finish acrylic parts to high standards
- Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and work orders
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, clarity, and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized production workspace
Requirements
- Proven experience in acrylic fabrication or similar plastics manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of cutting, bonding, and finishing acrylic materials
- Experience using fabrication tools (table saws, routers, polishers, etc.)
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow precise instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Physically capable of handling materials and standing for long periods
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
