Overview
We are seeking reliable and motivated Drivers (Class 5) and Movers to join our team. This role involves transporting, loading, and unloading goods efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing skills in moving, driving, and warehouse operations. Candidates should be prepared for physical activity and possess strong communication skills to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Driver Job -Duties:
- Operate and drive vehicles to transport household goods and materials
- Work with knowledgeable crews to complete moves within the Dartmouth area, and on out-of-town trips
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections on vehicle and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness
- Complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift, including daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, and hours of service
- Maintain contact with dispatcher in accordance with travel plan
- Loading and unloading the truck
- Provide exceptional customer service as you safely move, pack and unpack customers’ belongings.
- Wrap, pack and unpack items in an organized and efficient manner to prevent damage.
- Communicate with clients in a professional manner.

Job Requirements Drivers:
- Valid driver's Class 5 with Airbrake endorsement and a clean driving abstract
- Ability to carry and lift heavy items (50 – 100lbs) for an extended period.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian driving rules and regulations
- Demonstrated time management skills
