Job Summary
Stargate Services Inc. seeking part-time Workshop & Administrative Assistant / Field Hand to join our team for 3 days a week with flexible hours. For 25 years, our company has been a trusted leader in the Disaster Restoration industry. We specialize in recovering, inspecting and restoring flood & fire-damaged electronics for insurance claims. This is a dynamic role that splits time between our workshop, some administrative duties and helping clients in the field. Responsibilities
- Tech Restoration: Help catalog, inspect, clean, test, and restore electronics affected by fire and water
- Field Operations: Assist with field activities by helping with onsite pickups and pack outs to safely collect affected electronics from client locations
- Shipping & Delivery: Assist with packaging and delivering refurbished items back to our happy clients
- Office & Tracking: Support front desk operations including route planning and using Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and online tools to log project notes and track inventory
- Maintain organizational systems for supplies, tools, and documentation to ensure easy access and efficiency
- Assist with workshop setup, maintenance, and cleanup to ensure a safe and organized workspace
- Work independently to finish your daily tasks
Requirements
- Physical Ability: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with field and shop work such as lifting equipment or materials safely
- Computer Skills: Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint / Google Workspace, Basic Internet researching skills. Strong typing skills along with proofreading abilities for accurate documentation
- Mindset: Reliable, highly attentive to detail, and able to work independently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Driving Requirements: Reliable transportation and a valid G license with a clean driving record are required.
- Tech Knowledge: Basic knowledge of electronics is helpful, but you do not need to be a repair expert. We will train you!

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 – 40.0 per week
