Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators and skid steers to install helical piles accurately and efficiently
- Set up and prepare work sites by inspecting equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and coordinating with team members
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly and perform basic maintenance when needed
- Assist in the precise placement of helical piles by following engineering specifications and project plans
- Conduct site inspections to ensure proper installation procedures are followed and document progress regularly
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain a safe work environment and meet project deadlines
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Ability to operate commercial vehicles safely for transporting equipment and materials
- Experience working with farm machinery or heavy equipment in agricultural or construction settings is a plus
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL certification is preferred but not required

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
