Colonial Countertops is seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated individual to join our Kamloops team. This is a hands-on position responsible for shipping, receiving, inventory management, and supporting daily shop operations. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring materials are received, organized, tracked, and staged efficiently to support production and installation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Unload, organize, and catalogue incoming materials and inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company systems and software
- Perform regular inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliation
- Prepare and ship outgoing orders and transfers
- Stage materials and supplies for daily production requirements
- Coordinate material movement between warehouse, production, and installation teams
- Keep inventory storage areas organized, clearly labelled, and accessible
- Use company systems for inventory control, receiving, and material tracking
- Assist with loading and unloading company vehicles as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop, warehouse, and yard environment
- Assist with general shop maintenance and housekeeping duties
- Support fabrication and installation teams when additional assistance is required
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using computers and learning inventory management software
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy materials on a regular basis
- Valid Driver's Licence required
- Forklift experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
