Industrial Electrician – $40–$44/hr | Cambridge, ON

Pivotal Staffing Solutions is currently hiring an experienced Industrial Electrician for a busy manufacturing facility in Cambridge. This is a great opportunity for a licensed electrician with strong industrial electrical and automation experience who can troubleshoot equipment and help keep production running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance, repairs, and modifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial production and high-speed manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to scheduled work orders.
- Troubleshoot PLC and automation systems and make programming changes when required.
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, controls, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Use electrical testing equipment such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications.
- Identify electrical and equipment issues that could create safety hazards and report them immediately.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Follow all Health & Safety, GMP, Food Safety, and Food Defense requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and use required PPE.
- Complete other maintenance and electrical duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario 309A Construction & Maintenance or 442A Industrial Electrician license required.
- Minimum 4 years of electrical experience required.
- Industrial manufacturing or commercial electrical experience preferred.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming knowledge.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using electrical and hand tools.
- Completion of an electrician apprenticeship or relevant technical training.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and industry standards.
Physical & Working Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working around hot areas, including production ovens.
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Safety footwear and required PPE must be worn.

Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Night: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
