Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our dynamic team at our busy family run dealership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair. This role requires the ability to perform heavy lifting and utilize various hand and power tools effectively. As a Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and assembling automotive components, ensuring that all repairs meet the highest standards of quality. Walk-in applicates are welcomed. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to assemble and disassemble automotive parts.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Weld components as needed for repairs or assembly tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive repair or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience working in a dealership or mechanic shop is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
