Our team-driven approach fosters collaboration, innovation, and growth. We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to expand our presence in Manitoba and Ontario.
As the Sales Representative for Manitoba and Ontario, you will play a key role in driving revenue, building client relationships, and growing Forged Drilling’s presence in these regions. With a primary focus on mining in Ontario and dewatering in Manitoba, your expertise and connections in these disciplines will be instrumental. Reporting to the Corporate Development Officer, you will be supported by a team that includes a Proposal Coordinator, Marketing Specialist, and Data Scientist to help you succeed.
Duties
Client Engagement and Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, communicating proposals, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Engage with clients through in-person meetings, networking events, trade shows, lunches, and other touchpoints.
- Follow up on completed projects, deliver appreciation packages, and gather feedback to enhance future interactions.
Business Development:
- Lead technical presentations with clients (with technical guidance provided).
- Identify and pursue opportunities in Ontario and in Manitoba.
- Focus on networking with engineering, procurement, and project management groups in relevant disciplines.
- Develop relationships in Eastern Canada through occasional travel to expand business opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams to align efforts with client needs and opportunities.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Participate in recurring team meetings, following the company process to ensure alignment and progress tracking.
- Leverage support from the Proposal Coordinator for managing proposal flow and delivering timely, high-quality client proposals.
- Work with the Marketing Specialist to access marketing materials, social media campaigns, and trade show support.
- Utilize insights from the Data Scientist to focus on data-driven market research and identify high-priority opportunities.
CRM and Documentation:
- Use and maintain the CRM system to document interactions, track leads, and manage opportunities.
- Ensure consistent follow-up and accurate reporting to foster a robust pipeline.
Requirements
- Proven sales or business development experience, ideally with connections in mining, dewatering, engineering, or procurement sectors.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills, with confidence to lead client discussions.
- Self-motivated, organized, and skilled at time management to effectively balance client engagement and administrative responsibilities.
- Experience with CRM systems and a willingness to use them actively.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Manitoba, Ontario, and occasionally to Eastern Canada.

Pay: $100,000.00-$300,000.00 per year
