Friday to Sunday: between 3:30 pm to 4:00 am
Training is done on the day shift Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
What will you do?

Verify conformance of machined work to specifications, using measuring tools including micrometers, calipers;
-
Study machining instructions, work orders, and drawings to determine dimensional and finish specifications, sequence of operations, set-ups and tooling requirements;

Select cutting tools according to machining instructions;
-
Observe boring operations to detect malfunctions;
-
Lift work pieces onto work tables either manually or with hoists/cranes;
-
Installing tools and spindles;
-
Document work performed/completed in job sheets

Daily housekeeping of work area and maintaining equipment

What do you have?
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience operating a CNC Milling machine in a machine shop setting
-
Post Secondary education in General Machining would be an asset;
-
Proven knowledge and experience of CNC Machining language;
-
Knowledge of production processes, quality control and other techniques for maximizing the effective machining of plates and components;
-
Ability to analyze and interpret engineering drawings.
