The Taylor Statten Camps are Canada’s oldest family-run traditional summer camp. We are located on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park for the months of June through September. Our Head Office in the other months is located at 59 Hoyle Ave in Toronto. The camp is made up of Camp Wapomeo for Girls and Camp Ahmek for Boys. Our camper’s range from age 6 to 16.
We are currently looking for a full-time salaried, Camp Administrator (Camper Parent Relations & Logistics) to join our team.
Act as the primary contact for camper parents (new & returning); answer daily inquiries via phone and email.
Maintain our Campbrain software database application.
Process ongoing camper registrations and family invoicing through Campbrain.
Keep track of outstanding financial balances; communicate with parents on collections.
Assist and support senior management.
Order the necessary general supplies to operate in the summer.
Ensure the camp has necessary program supplies to operate in the summer.
Oversee organization and creation of camper files.
Organize all intake and outtake transportation for our campers and staff, including airport pick-ups and drop-offs.
Create camper cabin groups, and maintain up-to-date spreadsheets throughout the year.
Work closely with the TSC Canoe Tripping Coordinator and Camp Directors to create special canoe trip groups and longer canoe trip cabin groups.
Act as a Supervisor to select camp support staff in the summer ie. Camp Drivers, Camp Ahmek receptionists and tuck shop/storehouse staff; assist with Camp Wapomeo receptionists and tuckshop/storehouse when needed.
Work closely with all Camp Directors during the summer operations to ensure both our camps are running properly; act as the main point person for camper parents, camper cabin groups, program supplies and general supplies during these months.
Input and track all ongoing camper related charges in Campbrain, including tuck shop, medical, transportation etc.
Assist with company payment on expenses.
Liaise with company Bookkeeper on Campbrain financial reports from time to time.
Provide necessary reports from Campbrain to Camp Directors.
Collect and respond to feedback during the off season, passing all relevant information to the Ahmek and Wapomeo Directors.
Liaise with suppliers for both online store and camp tuck shop items each year; sell items in the off-season through tuck store; supervise summer tuck shop coordinators with regards to ongoing inventory and sales.
Organize and facilitate company mailings to customers (i.e. lists, addresses, supplies).
Update company website with information pertaining to camper parents (i.e. transportation information, camp guide, rates & dates)

Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word Press and various Social Media platforms
Strong customer service skills
Passionate about children’s summer camp and the outdoors
Summer camp experience is considered an asset
Compensation varies depending on experience.
