Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic <PERSON> and Store Front Employee to join our team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and other baked goods to meet customer demand.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with creativity and attention to detail.
- Package finished products for display and sale, ensuring they are presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and store front areas, adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions they may have.
- Handle food safely, following all relevant health regulations and guidelines.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry preparation is highly desirable.
- Strong background in food production, food handling, and culinary practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools, along with strong knife skills.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
- Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is a plus.
