Woodlawn Veterinary Hospital is looking to add an experienced, motivated individual in a Vet Assistant / Client Care Representative role to our dedicated care team.
We are a privately owned cat and dog practice with a strong focus on building lasting client relationships while providing high quality individual patient care.
This is a key position where the right individual will have the opportunity to make positive contributions in both a customer service and patient care role.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a veterinary or similar animal care setting. They should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and be flexible to perform different roles within the clinic, often at a fast pace, having the customer service and animal handling experience required to proceed professionally and confidently.
Duties will include but are not limited to admitting patients for appointments, billing out clients’, answering phones, dealing with and directing client enquiries, assisting the Veterinarians and Technicians with patient restraint for examinations and procedures, technical tasks such as lab work and sampling and general cleaning duties.
This position requires flexible availability for both morning and evening shifts as well as rotating weekend shifts.
This role is a permanent position and is not suitable for a full-time student.
Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
