Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscaping & Maintenance professional to join our team. This role involves maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through various landscaping tasks, ensuring the aesthetic appeal and health of gardens, lawns, and other landscaped areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction-related activities, contributing to the overall beauty and functionality of our clients' properties.
Duties
- Operate a Tractor for Guided Tours of our Wilderness
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, mulching, and edging
- Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction and repair tasks
- Assist with landscape construction projects, including site preparation and installation of features
- Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal operation of tools and machinery
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute landscaping projects effectively
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or related fields
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating machinery like a Tractor and power tools
- Strong understanding of gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to handle hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of construction processes relevant to landscape projects
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred for equipment operation or site travel purposes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
