The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association of Canada (BGEAC) is seeking a highly organized individual to join our Communications and Creative Services (C&CS) team as a Communications Administration Specialist.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is well known for the powerful evangelism and outreach ministry of our founder, Billy Graham. His mission is our mission: “Proclaiming the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to all we can by every effective means available to us, and equipping others to do the same.”
As the Communications Administration Specialist, you will oversee the administration of C&CS projects, including digital and print campaigns, ensuring timely, cost-effective and accurate fulfillment from the beginning through the release of finished products. As an integral member of the BGEAC Ministry, this individual is expected to perform in a professional manner and deliver high quality outcomes and will help BGEAC carry out its mission and objectives through participation in daily prayer ministry.
The successful candidate will fulfill a full-time permanent position in the Calgary head office. This position includes benefits of life insurance, medical/dental and short-term/long-term disability, RRSP contributions after one year of employment, and 15 vacation days per year to start.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Administers all C&CS Help Desk requests, leading and facilitating weekly C&CS meetings to update requesters on the progress, completion, and scheduling of future work
- Ensures projects are on-time and within budget through negotiating schedules, managing production traffic workflow, and overseeing the routing of all projects with International Headquarters (IHQ) and internal clients
- Serves as a liaison between C&CS and IHQ, as well as internal departments to manage project deadlines, strengthen communication and workflow, and ensure global brand standards are met
- Collaborates with and keeps C&CS leadership and IHQ apprised of project activity, ensuring the necessary approvals and providing regular updates on project status, budget control reports, purchase orders, and invoicing
- Regularly reviews, schedules, and invoices projects in a timely manner to monitor progress and results, ensure appropriate budget usage and expenditure backup, and address variances to a project budget and planned outcomes
- Works closely with C&CS team members to ensure the department’s strategic plans are executed on time and within budget, while handling necessary documentation for internal and external stakeholders
- Implements procedures and processes to document communication requests, understand and clarify project scope and strategy, prioritize work, and maximize efficiencies
- Builds organizational relationships with outside vendors, establishing job specifications, initiating quotation requests, and pursuing cost-saving options
Qualifications:

Qualified applicants must be committed to Christian values and precepts and be in agreement and compliance with the BGEAC Statement of Faith
- 5+ years of administration management experience
- Budget and inventory management an asset
- Experience in handling paperwork in large-scale project implementation involving multiple departments
- Experience in project processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of reporting and analysis of project plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent attention to detail is critical
- Ability to be flexible, adapt to rapid changes and multitask
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
