New Heights School and Learning Services is a not-for-profit K-12 School and Specialized Services provider for families with autistic/neurodivergent children and youth aged 5 – 20 years. We are a play-based program that utilizes the strengths and interests of each student to address social-emotional and academic goals.
Classrooms at New Heights School are multi-grade, with a maximum of 11 students with a Teacher and Educational Assistant teaching team.
New Heights School is currently seeking substitute Teachers (hourly/on-call) to complete our the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- An active Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Experience working with neurodivergent children and youth
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to be self-directed, flexible, highly motivated and to work effectively in a team environment
- Availability during school hours on school days
