Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, watering, pruning, and harvesting plants to promote healthy growth
- Monitor plant health daily, identifying pests, diseases, or deficiencies early and reporting issues promptly
- Operate irrigation systems accurately to ensure proper watering schedules and water conservation
- Maintain cleanliness of cultivation areas by cleaning tools, equipment, and workspaces regularly
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge to support plant maintenance activities
- Help with the setup and breakdown of grow rooms or greenhouses as needed
- Support inventory management by tracking supplies, nutrients, and plant materials
Requirements
- Basic understanding of horticulture principles and gardening techniques
- Experience with irrigation systems and mechanical tools preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling plants or supplies
- Strong attention to detail for monitoring plant conditions and maintaining cleanliness
- Good basic math skills for measuring nutrients or adjusting schedules
- Familiarity with hand tools and general gardening equipment required
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a physically active environment
