Swish Maintenance Limited is looking for a dynamic, eager and motivated person to join our team for a full-time position as a Finance Assistant. This role will have you applying your administrative and accounting skills as you help the team with functions such as primary reception back-up, providing administrative support, processing invoices, and preparing reports as needed – plus so much more!
Who You Are...
An individual who is looking to get their ‘foot in the door’, you have strong communication skills which help with speaking to team members, internal employees, and vendors regarding accounting matters. You are detailed and meticulous with data entry and performing reporting duties to ensure accuracy. Your background has finance and accounting experience– perhaps your knowledge has come from schooling or has been learned through various roles you have had. You are familiar, comfortable and proficient with using technology and applications such as Excel, ERP and Google suite.
What is the Finance Assistant Responsible for?
In this role, you will be responsible for using accounting applications to post invoices into accounts payable and process supplier credits. You will need to setup, track and report on vendor invoices and credits and you will have duties such as transferring incoming calls throughout the company using a switchboard system, scanning, and photocopying. This role will also provide support and assistance to other areas of the Finance Department. Lastly, you are expected to protect the organizations integrity by following confidentiality principles and practices.
