Role Description:
Lead the setup, operation, and maintenance of a portable asphalt plant in the Winnipeg region. After initial setup, focus on reliable daily production, quality control, and equipment upkeep.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee plant setup, calibration, and commissioning
- Direct daily operations to meet production and mix quality targets
- Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant systems
- Supervise plant crew and enforce safety/environmental standards
- Maintain production, maintenance, and quality records
Requirements
- Hands-on experience operating, maintaining, and setting up portable asphalt plants
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (burners, baghouse, feed systems, controls)
- Proven ability to lead a small crew in a production environment
- Valid driver’s licence
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can take ownership of the plant from setup through ongoing production.
Pay: $48.00-$50.00 per hour
