You’re invited to make a difference… as a 12-month contract Systems Support Specialist.
At Kindred Credit Union, you will be part of cooperative banking that connects values and faith with finances, inspiring peaceful, just, and prosperous communities.
In this role you will join a dedicated team of IT professionals, responding to requests for technical help on a wide variety of platforms, tools and applications. You will diagnose root issues, troubleshoot problems and provide solutions that allow staff members to effectively and efficiently complete work and ultimately serve members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Help Desk service support for staff members, resolving issues and providing solutions
- Builds end user technical capabilities through instruction and encouragement
- Implement and support application upgrades
- Configure places and maintain hardware and software
- Complete routine systems maintenance and backups.
What to bring
As the ideal candidate, you have excellent communications skills coupled with a commitment to providing outstanding service. You are an organized self-starter who enjoys troubleshooting, resolving problems, and building capabilities of inexperienced end-users.
Plus, you bring your qualifications and experience:
- Some post-secondary education or training
- Current expertise with standard business software applications
- General knowledge of networking concepts and practices
- 2 years’ experience providing end-user software and hardware support
- Active commitment to Kindred’s shared values and purpose
- Familiarity with the credit union system an asset
