We are looking for a dependable and experienced Full G Driver to join our team for a full-time, year-round position, with a primary focus on winter snow removal operations.
Position Overview
The successful candidate will operate company vehicles and snow removal equipment during the winter season and assist with landscaping and property maintenance during the summer season.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is comfortable operating trucks and equipment, and is willing to work flexible hours during snow events.
Winter – Snow Removal Responsibilities
- Operate company pickup trucks equipped with snow plows and salt spreaders.
- Drive safely between multiple commercial, condominium, and residential properties.
- Perform snow plowing of parking lots, driveways, and access areas.
- Assist with sidewalk and pedestrian-area snow clearing using snow blowers and shovels.
- Apply salt and other de-icing materials as required.
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snow and freezing rain events.
- Perform pre-trip and post-shift inspections of vehicles and equipment.
- Report equipment issues, property damage, hazards, and other concerns to management.
- Maintain clean and organized vehicles and equipment.
- Work overnight, early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts when required.
- Complete snow removal duties safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
Summer Responsibilities
- Drive company trucks and trailers to and from job sites.
- Perform lawn maintenance, trimming, edging, and property cleanups.
- Assist with landscaping projects, including planting, mulching, sod installation, and general property maintenance.
- Operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance.
- Assist the team with general property maintenance duties as required.
Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Full G Driver's Licence – Required
- Clean driver's abstract – Required
- Previous snow removal or landscaping experience is an asset.
- Experience operating a pickup truck with a plow is an asset.
- Experience towing a trailer is an asset.
- Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
- Physically capable of performing outdoor work in snow, cold, rain, and other challenging weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Must be available for flexible hours during snow events, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Important Winter Schedule Requirement
Snow removal is a weather-dependent position. Employees must be available to respond to snow events, which may require overnight work, early morning starts, weekends, and holidays.
