Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to coordinate teams, manage resources, and maintain safety and quality protocols on-site.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide on-site work
- Monitor progress and quality control measures to meet project specifications and standards
- Manage on-site safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings with staff
- Oversee budgeting processes related to labor, materials, and equipment usage
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar tools for project tracking and documentation
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards
- Prepare reports on project status, issues, and resolutions for stakeholders
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for unforeseen site challenges or delays
Skills
- Knowledge and experience with building exterior construction and roofing.
- Expertise in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations in construction sites
- Ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining project quality
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Skilled in using construction management tools for scheduling, documentation, and reporting
- Familiarity with construction schematics and technical drawings to guide on-site activities

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
