Atlantic owned supplier of compressed air systems, industrial machinery and related equipment has immediate opening for a full-time Field Service Technician position.
Job Description
· Startup and commissioning of new air compressor installations
· Service and repair of existing, customer owned compressed air installations
· Occasional maintenance and repair of industrial wood and metal working machinery
· Communicate with customers and co-workers with regards to machine maintenance and requirements
· Maintain work orders, reports and other required documentation
· Occasional travel required
· Position may require working in diverse conditions such as mechanical equipment rooms or process facilities
· Availability for after hours, emergency services may be required
· Service vehicle provided by company
Qualifications
· Experience with rotary screw, piston air compressors and associated electro-mechanical control systems, air dryers and airline equipment.
· Electrical experience or training such as ability to read electrical drawings, component familiarity, an asset
· Millwright and/or Refrigeration experience/certification is an asset
· Good communication skills and ability to work alone
· Basic computer skills
· Valid drivers license and clean driving record
