Overview
*Training will be provided!* We are seeking a rust spray technician to join our team! We have been servicing dealerships in the surrounding area since 1988. We are looking for someone who will be able to maintain the level of professionalism and quality that we provide to our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the automotive industry and will be willing to help out wherever needed to help our small business run efficiently. If you are someone who looks for every day to be a different challenge and opportunity, this is the job for you. A background in automotive or mechanical knowledge is preferred.
Duties
- Spray rust protection chemicals onto doors, hood, trunk, and underbody of vehicle
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning and removing any debris or contaminants before installation.
- Help with detailing interior and exterior of vehicles
- Wipe down any overspray on vehicles after spraying rust protection chemicals
- Ensure new vehicles from dealerships are not damaged before and after you work on the vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with general cleaning of the shop. (taking out garbage, sweeping, mopping, etc)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs for short period of time to help dump rust proofing drums
- Prepare and clean the rust proof area every morning/evening for the next day of work while also keeping it tidy
- Drive vehicles to and from dealerships if needed while speaking to dealership employees in a professional manner, checking vehicles for damage as well/
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Help out with ceramic coating installations when needed.
- If the rust proof bay is not too busy, help with driving and cleaning other areas of the shop.
- Drive vehicles with manual transmission.
- Carefully put cars up on the hoist
Qualifications
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift arms over head for spraying purposes.
- Heavy Lifting sometimes required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position and a clean driving history.
- It is required that this candidate knows how to drive vehicles with manual transmission.
- Clean criminal record & clean driving record.
