Overview
We are seeking friendly, attentive, and professional Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while delivering memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Clover POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising service quality
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment focused on guest satisfaction
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of serving experience in a cafe or restaurant setting
Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence
Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and billing accurately
Proven ability to recommend and upsell without being pushy
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed; availability for full shifts is preferred
Food handling certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to employment is advantageous
