We are currently working on creating a new weekend shift schedule for the Fall of 2026. Once in place this position will run 7am to 7 pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will receive 8% vacation accrual (2 weeks employer scheduled and 2 weeks employee scheduled). As a hourly employee you would work 36 hours but paid for 40 hours per week. Applicants maybe eligible for a signing bonus as a apart of possible job offer. The amount will be based on your experience level.
Main purpose of this job:
This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy-duty commercial vehicles in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine light & heavy truck maintenance services
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, along with an organized toolbox
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing quality repairs and timely communication
- Complete work orders accurately and document findings.
- Provide leadership and assistance to apprentices
- Follow all safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Driver's License G Class (Preferred)
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License (Required).
- Experience working on heavy-duty diesel trucks (Required).
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and computer-based repair systems. Such as Diagnosticlink, Cummins Insite, Wabco Toolbox, Service Ranger, Allison Doc, Bendix Acom.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must have own Tools and Transportation
