Responsibilities:
- Removing debris, dust, and other waste materials from the construction site
- Cleaning all surfaces, including windows, walls, and floors
- Utilizing appropriate cleaning tools and products to clean hard-to-reach areas
- Inspecting the site regularly to identify areas that need cleaning
- Ensuring all areas of the site meet health and safety standards
- Using specialized equipment to remove stains and heavy dust
- Disposing of trash and other construction waste in accordance with local regulations
- Reporting any damage or necessary repairs to the site supervisor
- Restocking supplies and cleaning equipment as necessary
- Performing final clean up and polish in preparation for site handover
Experience:
- Previous experience in a labour-intensive role preferred or post construction cleaning
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Strong physical performance and ability to lift heavy objects
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus
This position requires individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. It is preferential for local people or those who can move or travel to Sunshine Coast (Gibsons area) during the time of the project.
Please note that this is a physically demanding job that may require standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time. Salary will be based on experience.
