Groundskeeper / General Maintenance Associate (Contract)

Delta Calgary South is looking for a Groundskeeper / General Maintenance Associate to join our team on a contract basis through September 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension based on business needs.
What You'll Do
This role is responsible for maintaining the appearance and upkeep of our hotel grounds and assisting with general maintenance duties throughout the property.
Responsibilities Include:
- Cutting and trimming grass
- Weeding and maintaining flower beds and landscaped areas
- Watering plants, shrubs, and outdoor greenery
- Keeping parking lots, walkways, and entrances clean and presentable
- Assisting with seasonal outdoor projects and property beautification
- Performing basic indoor maintenance tasks throughout the hotel
- Completing minor repairs and preventative maintenance as assigned
- Supporting the Engineering team with general maintenance projects
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
What We're Looking For
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, or labour experience is an asset
- Ability to perform physical work and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, attractive property
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
