Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize applications focused on single-page architecture using frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
- Implement responsive UI components with HTML, CSS (including SCSS), and JavaScript to ensure cross-device compatibility.
- Integrate APIs (REST, GraphQL, SOAP) to connect front-end interfaces with back-end services such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or SQL Server databases.
- Utilize version control systems like GitHub and SVN to manage code repositories effectively throughout the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Conduct unit testing and debugging using tools such as Visual Studio, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies via Trello or Jira to plan sprints and track progress efficiently.
- Deploy applications within cloud environments like AWS or Azure while adhering to DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in web development with a focus on front-end technologies including HTML, CSS (SCSS), JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, jQuery, and React or Angular frameworks.
- Strong understanding of application development principles such as OOP (Object-Oriented Programming), MVC architecture, and system design.
- Hands-on experience working with databases like MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Familiarity with web services including RESTful APIs and SOAP for data exchange; knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.
- Proficiency with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is desirable.
- Experience working within Agile environments using tools like Jira or Trello; familiarity with SDLC best practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins), and automation tools like Ansible enhances your suitability.
- Ability to develop scalable applications using frameworks such as Spring Framework for Java or Django for Python; experience with ASP.NET or PHP is advantageous.
