DESCRIPTION

This role will define and evolve development quality control processes and perform project/sprint auditing in order to ensure they are respected across all development in his areas (Project, Enhancements and Support). He/she will leverage capabilities from the DevOps toolchain to capture information and metrics to report quality KPIs. The Quality Control Specialist (QC) works closely with the Development Leads and Quality Assurance analysts (QA) to ensure the Quality Control process is defined, efficient, adhered to, and reports on metrics. This role does not involve the definition and execution of test plans and test cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and implement Quality Control processes, gates, KPI and auditing requirements for Development cycles
Ensure Quality controls are respected through auditing and inspections
Ensure the correct coverage for unit tests leveraging DevOps tools
Ensure the correct coverage for automation testing leveraging automation testing tools
Ensure Secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC) is established and respected
Ability to perform requirement traceability matrix (RTM) and how it applies to application quality
Work with team leads with up to 3-5 scrum teams to produce quality metrics and KPI
Recommend and establish an appropriate documentation strategy
Be the point of contact and govern all Quality metrics and reporting

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor degree required
Experience as Development and/or QA/QC Lead and/or project/process auditor (min 2 years)
Ability to work with many projects simultaneously
Provide guidance and support to team members regarding Quality Control process
Understand and follow corporate processes (e.g. S-SDLC & SOX processes for secure software development)

ASSETS

The following skills are nice to have, and will be considered, but are not mandatory for this position

CMMi auditor experience or certification
Experience or certification in Project Management (PMP) and/or Scrum master
Experience as developer (Java, .Net or another Object Oriented language)
Experience with DevOps (Jenkins, GIT, etc.)
Experience in Software Engineering Practices and proven methodologies (TDD, Agile, Iterative, Waterfall)
Experience with Jira, Confluence
Experience in functional, usability, compatibility, performance, security, accessibility testing, tools and unit testing, automation testing, on SOA, interfaces (Web services & messaging), API, REST, business processes, and micro services
