This is a full-time role for a Frontend Developer at quickQR located in Mississauga, ON. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with front-end web development, including coding, connecting frontend to the backend, designing user interfaces, and implementing responsive web design. Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable and reusable frontend code using React.js and Next.js.
- Integrate APIs, ensuring smooth data flow between frontend and backend.
- Must have skills in UI/UX design.
- Design and implement user-friendly, responsive interfaces.
- Optimize web performance for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
- Conduct code reviews and debugging for clean, efficient code.
- Stay updated with web development trends and suggest improvements.
- Maintain documentation for frontend processes and components.
- Implement unit and end-to-end testing for code reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Ensure compliance with security, industry standards, and accessibility guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Front-End Development and Web Development skills
- Experience with Responsive Web Design
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Expertise in React.js and Next.js
- Experience with Back-End Web Development
- Experience with Software Development
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Gitlab)
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Preferred 5 or more years of experience within the field
