Responsibilities
- Conduct oil and filter changes efficiently while adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Perform basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and communicate findings to customers or supervisors
- Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete service tasks accurately
- Assist with other light mechanical repairs or maintenance tasks as needed to support the team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and supplies are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and answering vehicle-related questions
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with vehicle systems and maintenance procedures
- Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic understanding of automotive repair processes and maintenance standards
