Cenairus – Calgary, AB
Cenairus is a Calgary based provider of forming systems and equipment for the precast concrete industry within Canada, the U.S. and globally. Cenairus has a position open for a project manager.
The project manager role is at the hub of our company where sales, engineering, manufacturing and the customer come together. It is a dynamic role which covers all elements of our projects from finance to shipping.
Responsibilities:
Oversees each project work order from start to finish, including:
Setting up work orders and all required documentation
Working with sales, design and manufacturing to establish milestone dates for each project
Overseeing the management of drawing releases between the customer and manufacturing
Maintaining customer contact and support throughout the duration of the project
Managing vendors associated with the project including procurement of materials and components
Working with accounting to maintain the AR/AP for each project
Managing QC/QA documentation and reporting on results within each project
Tracking work order performance throughout the project and reporting to the company on the ongoing results
Assisting manufacturing in establishing build procedures and test assemblies
Assisting design, on occasion, by preparing design packages and cutting files
Scheduling and monitoring the level of manufacturing resources within each work order
Managing shipments within each work order
Providing post project performance reporting to the company along with recommendations and observations on improvements to processes
As required, attending to form installations at customer locations in Canada and the U.S.
General support for sales, design and manufacturing including:
Maintaining the production schedule by communicating with each department on the status of pending and current projects
Assisting sales and design by providing insight and support for R&D efforts
There is flexibility to work from home or remotely at the discretion of the project manager. We run a flex schedule and base performance on the quality of work done and your effectiveness in successfully managing each project and meeting company goals.
Required:
Project management experience
Technical background in manufacturing – preferably with experience in steel fabrication or construction
A post-secondary degree/diploma in engineering or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (excel, word and PowerPoint at a minimum)
Ability to periodically travel within Canada and the U.S. – must have passport.
