As a key member of the construction team, you will be part of a dynamic group of construction professionals constructing small to large mechanical systems, civil and infrastructure projects. Typical projects include water treatment facilities (drinking water and sewer), lift stations, booster stations, pressure regulating kiosks, industrial and commercial plumbing, federal projects, civil infrastucture and larger heating and cooling systems. Work is based out of our Courtenay headquarters but projects can happen anywhere on or around Vancouver Island.
We are currently looking for a Plumbing Apprentice, preferably a 3rd or 4th year.
Required Skills
- Able to understand and interpret blueprints
- Experience installing waterlines, drainage/venting, fixtures or equipment
- Basic understanding of plumbing and heating systems
- Experience fusing HDPE is an asset
- Experience with larger diameter pipe and bolt up is an asset
- Experience rigging is an asset
- Able to pass a criminal record check
- Good problem solving skills
- Work well alone or with others
- Willing to work out of town
- Valid drivers license
