Urban Treasures is a Winnipeg based home decor, home furnishings and plant store. Due to the fun and unique nature of the business we are looking to hire an individual with a passion for decorating, a keen design eye and a love of houseplants!
We are looking to hire a full time retail associate at our new location, 1875 Pembina Hwy.
Experience in the home decor/furniture/design industry is required for this position as we regularly work to decorate and build onto customers existing spaces.
Duties Include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming customers into the store
- Helping with decorating and gift buying purchases
- Helping customers choose the right furniture for their space
- Plant care, watering and pruning
- Cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping vacuuming and mopping
- Picture hanging
- Inventory maintenance
- Furniture assembly
Basic plant knowledge, any barista experience, and experience with Shopify are strong assets.
