Retail Administrative Assistant

Retail Operations is seeking a highly organized and energetic District Assistant. As a member of the Retail Division administrative team in this Peterborough – based role, you will work collaboratively with the District Manager for the success of the District. You will assist with providing management support to retail store outlets.

What’s the role about?
  • Completing weekly/monthly/period reporting and analyzing trends
  • Assist with expense control and compliance
  • Track performance appraisals, attendance, training requirements and Health & Safety compliance
  • Ensure grievance files are kept up to date and accurate
  • Prepare correspondence, filing, responding to inquiries and communicating with stores as required
  • Communicate with staff at all levels
What will you bring to the team?
  • Proven, relevant experience in an office environment providing confidential administrative support
  • Requires exceptional organization and the ability to handle multiple projects and conflicting deadlines
  • Advanced computer skills MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and the Internet required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong mathematical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment dealing high volume
  • Demonstrate initiative and express good judgement at all times
  • Retail experience an asset
