SKILLED CONSTRUCTION LABOURERS
Riverstone Excavation & Underground Ltd. is looking for experienced professionals to join our growing team.
We specialize in excavation, water and sewer services, storm services, septic systems, site servicing, hardscaping, retaining walls, lot clearing, demolition, and civil construction projects throughout Simcoe County and Muskoka.
These are not entry-level positions. We are looking for hardworking, experienced individuals who take pride in their work and can perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Water, sewer, and storm service installation
- Septic system installation and repairs
- Basement and footing excavation
- Site servicing and underground utilities
- Excavator operation
- Skid steer operation
- Laser levels and grade control
- Reading plans and construction layouts
- Flagstone and natural stone installation
- Armour stone retaining walls
- Concrete block retaining walls
- Stone step installation
- Finish grading
- Granular placement and compaction
- Tree removal and lot clearing
- Trenching and underground pipe work
- Working safely around existing utilities
- Loading trucks efficiently
- Working with hydraulic thumbs and attachments
- General excavation and earthworks
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTSWorking Lead Hand
- Ability to lead a crew while actively working on site
- Coordinate daily activities and maintain production
- Strong understanding of excavation, hardscaping, septic, and underground utility work
- Ability to operate excavators and skid steers
Top-Tier Excavator Operator
- Minimum 10 years experience preferred
- Must be capable of completing basements, footings, septic systems, water and sewer installations, lot clearing, and fine grading
- Ability to work independently and maintain high production
Skilled Construction Labourer
- Strong experience in excavation, hardscaping, underground utilities, septic systems, and site work
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment and in trenches
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
