Pizza Maker/Cashier
Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Pizza Maker/Cashier to join our dynamic team. This role combines food preparation with customer service, ensuring that guests receive high-quality pizza and a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent multitasking skills, and a commitment to food safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizzas according to company recipes and quality standards, including dough stretching, topping application, and baking.
- Operate the POS system (Micros POS) to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen area, food prep stations, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in stocking supplies and preparing ingredients as needed.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and sanitation. Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- Kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
