We are looking for highly motivated and career-focused individuals who believe in providing the best service and results for our clients as Collection Agents and Debt Recovery Agents.
WHAT THE ROLE IS:
- Contact customers via phone, email, or messaging systems to collect past-due payments
- Review customer accounts to determine payment status and history
- Negotiate payment plans or settlements
- Record all communications and updates in company systems
- Follow up consistently on unpaid accounts
- Resolve billing issues, disputes, or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with collection laws and company policies
- Meet performance targets such as collection rates, call volume, and recovery goals
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Fully remote (home-based)
- Uses company-provided or secure systems (CRM, dialer, payment tools)
- Requires a quiet workspace and reliable internet connection
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Basic computer and typing skills
- Time management and ability to work independently
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience in customer service, collections, or call center work (preferred)
- Knowledge of billing, finance, or accounts receivable (a plus)
Employees will be working from our Winnipeg office for the first day, before being 100% remote.
