Job Description
Innisfail daycare requires a child care worker for full time employment. Candidates MUST have a child care certification level 3 or 2.
Duties include but not limited to;
-program planning in a social, physical, intellectual, creative and moral development
-following all licensing procedures
-guiding/supervising room aide if assigned
-working in direct care of children
-work under direction of directors
-must be able to interact with parents and children
-keep children happy, safe and occupied.
-assisting with diapers changes, cleaning faces, wiping noses, etc.
-sanitizing and other housekeeping duties
-attends staff meetings and become an active member of the management team
-responsible for attendance records, daily reports, incident reports, notices to parents, etc
-deal with unexpected situations that pertain to children, parents and staff.
-must be happy and enthusiastic
-some cooking involved
-experience with play, exploration, flight a definite asset
This is a Monday to Friday business, Daycare operates from 6:30am to 6pm, current hours available for full time.
Must have first aid, criminal check, IRC check and proof of assigned level. You are hired for the company not a specific room. Top up wages will be added per hour based on level, included in wage description. Benefits paid by employer.
