Job Summary
House of Hesed is a loving, safe and affordable home for men and women living with HIV/AIDS. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Live-in Volunteer/Resident Care Workers to provide essential support and companionship to residents in a caregiving environment. This role involves living on-site and assisting with daily activities, ensuring residents’ comfort, safety, and well-being.
Job Description
- Help with household tasks
- General physical care of residents requiring assistance
- Give medications as required medication
- Update confidential log books
- Assist staff in emergencies
- Spiritually based duties as required
- Work hours: covers shifts as needed.
- On site Mon-Sun, 12am-8am
Qualifications
- Belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour is a requirement for this position.
- Ability to work in a controversial social area and live in community.
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Self-motivated, reliable, and a person of integrity
- Be available via cell phone
- First Aid/CPR level C
- Criminal Record Check Certificate with Vulnerable Sector screening.
