Overview
Cook Construction is looking for a Concrete Mixer Truck Driver to join our team. If you enjoy working outdoors, running heavy equipment, and being part of a hardworking construction crew, this could be the job for you.
You’ll be responsible for getting ready-mix concrete safely and on time from our plant to job sites throughout the area.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operate a concrete mixer truck and safely deliver concrete to job sites.
- Complete daily pre-trip inspections and make sure your truck is ready to work.
- Load, unload, and handle materials as needed.
- Help out the crew on-site with concrete, forming, paving, and finishing work.
- Keep your truck and equipment clean, maintained, and in good working order.
- Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and job-site crews to keep things moving.
- Complete delivery tickets, logs, and other required paperwork.
- Follow all workplace and road safety procedures.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a Class 1 driver's license or Class 3 and a clean driving record.
- Has 5 years + experience driving trucks or operating heavy equipment.
- Has experience with concrete, construction, or ready-mix — but it's not required for the right person.
- Is comfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather.
- Has good mechanical sense and takes pride in looking after their equipment.
- Can work independently but also knows how to be part of a crew.
- Shows up ready to work, works hard, and takes safety seriously.
- Is reliable, responsible, and takes pride in doing the job right.
This isn't a sit-at-a-desk job. You'll be behind the wheel, on the job site, and helping build the projects happening in our community.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
