Emshih Developments Inc. is a land and property development company based in Burlington, established in 1978. We do land development (subdivisions), master planned communities, including shopping centres, medical offices, seniors living, and multi-residential rental projects.
Emshih Developments Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic, full-time Urban Planner/Development Manager to oversee a mix of real estate development projects across Halton Region. This position will be an important part of our company's growth, and we are looking for someone excited to take on new challenges, handle multiple tasks and work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate various real estate development projects with various consultants (architects, civil, environmental and engineering).
- Monitor and respond to development applications, city projects, planning reports and meetings for public consultation.
- Coordinate meetings and respond to development-related inquiries
Qualifications:
- Minimum College/University degree or equivalent.
- Experience or background in real estate development, urban planning/urban design, or architecture is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Provincial planning policies, Official Plans, Zoning By-Laws and various municipal development application processes is also an asset.
- Excellent organization and time management, attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to multi-task and manage various projects as they arise
- This role is In-Person, as work at the office is an important part of the job.
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
