Reporting to the Manager, Financial Services/Deputy Treasurer the Revenue Clerk will assist with all aspects of the collection of tax, water and other revenue including daily processing and collection of receipts, updating of tax records, responding to the public regarding tax and water related matters, filing and providing administrative support to the department along with excellent customer service.
The preferred applicant must have a sound knowledge of office procedures acquired through an Accounting College Program and one year experience. Also, the applicant must have experience in dealing with cash and the preparation of bank deposits, hold excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated exceptional customer service skills. The position will require the successful candidate to utilize strong organizational and time management skills to effectively meet multiple deadlines, together with an excellent working knowledge of office procedures and Microsoft Office.
