The typical salary range for this position is $41 280.00 - $56 760.00 annually. The base salary offered will be determined based on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity considerations.
This is a posting for an existing temporary, full-time position ending August 27, 2026.
SUMMARY:
This position is a rotational position between mail and printing that is responsible for sorting of all incoming and outbound mail for the Ontario Division, including sorting coupons, any inquiries. The position is also responsible for ensuring all printing requests are organized and completed by the end of each day. This includes the operation and routine maintenance of printing equipment, daily cutting, padding and processing of printed materials.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and sort outbound/inbound mail to stores and field personnel.
- Maintain mail bags daily and prepare for shipping via Courier.
- Deliver boxes and other parcels to departments in all Offices by using a company vehicle (only if in the rotation).
- Understand office mail run and post office procedures.
- Responsible for all mail delivery/pick up for office and other buildings once a day.
- Responsible for sending outgoing packages and letters, including registered letters, same day delivery and special handling, using courier shipping systems.
- Track packages when necessary and assist in investigating all inquiries regarding missing, late, damaged, or inaccurate shipments.
- Prepare and distribute envelopes as per various department request.
- Sort and distribute product samples and deliver to appropriate personnel.
- Process store supplies requisitions by selecting the correct form, boxing, labeling and shipping.
- Including ordering and shipping name badges to stores.
- Deliver copier/printer paper and other supplies to all Office departments.
- Responsible for printing reports, memos and forms for stores, pharmacies, offices and distribution centers on high-speed printer/copiers.
- Responsible for printing all jobs sent from other workstations to the Image Press Server.
- Combines files to one document for printing. Retrieves and configures jobs on the command workstation.
- Scans documents into computer to ensure the best reproduction.
- Maintains copiers and printers including calling in service calls after all other avenues have been exhausted.
- Operates and performs routine maintenance of all bindery equipment and paper cutter.
- Performs bindery operations such as binding, trimming, folding and finish wrapping.
- Assists with putting various binders/packages together. Cuts and pads forms and performs coil binding of reports.
- Coordinates each job from printing to bindery to customer.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma is required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- A good knowledge of the processes surrounding Courier Shipping System and Postage Machine
- Experience in operating and small maintenance on high-speed copier/printers an asset
- Ability to identify and prioritize urgent and critical tasks to achieve daily and weekly activities
- Basic knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel is required
- Bona fide requirement to be able to lift or move up to 20 kg (44 lbs.) boxes
- Valid G Driver’s License
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Exposure to noise, dust, and toner
- Required to stand for extended periods of time
- Possess a valid Ontario drivers license ONLY IF you have been advise you will be in the driving rotation
- Possess a valid Forklift Operator license is an asset (training available) ONLY IF you have been advise you will be in this rotation
