Within the Energy and Natural Resources division the team focus on the integration and delivery of data powering our world class class software and analytics packages.
Your Role
You will be a key member of the data integration team enabling the successful integration and delivery of data. You will be working with data virtualization technology to create solutions for data delivery to clients and applications. The position will require some knowledge of data modelling, data processing, transformation, derivation and delivery. Critical to the role will be the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and specifications. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary, experienced and mature team with a pivotal role in IHS Markit’s ever changing business portfolio. Responsibilities
Understands data system pipelines / workflows that supports our organizations short-term and long-term goals
Provides critical oversight to internal developers in the integration of data
Create scripts for managing and validating the content
Design and develop automated processes that captures, derives, transforms and delivers data.
Involvement in initiatives to design solutions that optimally address current and future business requirements and infrastructure plans.
Support the continued evolution of the corporate energy data delivery through data modelling and database architecture.
Implement solutions in Denodo Data Virtualization Platform working with various database management systems like Oracle, SQL Server, PostGres in AWS Cloud Environment
Assists product management and development personal on the population, usage and implementation virtual databases
Designs and programs procedures to monitor and report on the quality, timeliness, completeness and accuracy of our data content

For work locations in the state of Colorado, the anticipated minimum base salary for this role would be $86,333. Compensation will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the applicant.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $49,400 - $13,000 . Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.
